The Day Nursery's Curriculum is designed to offer age-appropriate
activities as recommended
by the National Association
for the Education of Young
Children.
The Infant / Toddler and Preschool programs use HighReach
learning materials, which
provide developmentally
appropriate activities for
children. The materials
include monthly themes that
are exciting and fun, and
they integrate a variety
of learning experiences.
Each classroom has a qualified teacher
and trained staff to meet
the needs of each child.
The Day Nursery also receives
volunteers from the University
of Scranton and Marywood
College. These volunteers
are oriented by staff so
that they know what is expected
of adults working with children
at the Day Nursery and so
they can use their time
with the children constructively.
